Haven’t seen Jack Stratton in a while...
This is book 8 in the Jack Stratton series. I would suggest listening to this series in order as each book builds on relationships from one to the next.
In this book Jack and his long time girlfriend Alice are preparing for their upcoming wedding. Jack is now a Bounty Hunter along with his King Shepherd Lady. They discover a serial killer’s lair where a picture of Alice is taped to the wall alongside the victims.
Meanwhile, in the middle of all their turmoil a couple of Alice’s long lost relatives show up. As she dodged a killer they call to ask her to make time for them.
This is a fun,edge of your seat thriller with some really creepy art!!
A couple of surprises and a cliffhanger end this installment.
Andrew Tell does a great job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A great who done it!
Keeping the secret of the killer till close to the end was well done. Great clues and lots of twist and turns. Loved seeing all the characters from previous books. Cannot wait to listen to the next one.

Outstanding character development!
The Jack Stratton modern detective series by Christopher Greyson is a different mystery series in a good way. JACK OF DIAMONDS is Book 8 bit it is the 9th novel because there is a Book 0. I initially decided not to write a review because Audible listener Shelley (Raleigh NC) said everything I wanted to say in her review. BUt now I just want to add that this series deserves far more attention. Also, I'll add that the character development is outstanding. The co-protagonist Alice was initially called Replacement. Listening to the development of her character has been a pleasure.
