It kept me guessing every step of the way. I will definitely read more from this author.

Is it the narration or the story?

I have 4 hours left and I’m not sure I can keep listening. What a slog. The monotonous, whispery narration is terrible, the characters are unlikable, and the story is boring. I liked the author’s earlier books. Not sure if this would be better with good narration or not.
