Humorous in parts, tedious in others

Enjoyed the book overall. parts were pretty funny, but it dragged in places. I would recommend it to select friends.

Awesome,

Not since the Keystone Cops frolicking across our old black and white have I been so entertained . I am so glad I took advantage of this book despite some poor reviews. If you remember Laurel and Hardy , with a smile, you will love this book. Thank you Ms Cornwall for a great time, and to the narrator , Karen White ,for adding such color. I haven't laughed this much in a long time.

Not as good as the second book on the series

Got rid of Virginia West with no explanation. Trooper truth essays would have had the same affect if they were cut in half. Story was too predictable and a little too goofy for my liking.

Not her best

As a big fan of the author I was disappointed this didn't come up to her normal high quality.

Gross language

The language was offensive and unnecessary to many f bombs
Reduced the level of enjoyment and didn’t help character development. Cmon guys clean it up

Funny and entertaining, unexpected

Having read several of Cromwell's books, this was a surprise. Actually a pleasant surprise. Try it

Cornwell books typically aren't funny. However, this one was that some of the characters' names made me laugh out loud, Windy Breeze, Major Trader. etc. I am used to Cornwell's writing being more serious. This book was a step in the wrong direction writing wise, I get the sometimes we all have to step out of our comfort zones. Still love her and her books.

I can't believe this is written by Patricia Cornwell. I've been struggling to get to the end it's ridiculous.

Woo Woo, Excellent

I might just get spontinous Comsumption. The third time listening was as funny as the first. Karen White was spot on, we should all have backwards talk. Why should the politicians have all the fun?

It just seemed ridiculous. I had a hard time finishing it.

Normally, her books seem more realistic. This one seemed more like a fantasy… I doubt cops let young people, especially one considered a “pirate“ work with them again book seem stupid with the animals talking did not like that
