It was so easy to hate Shane at the beginning, but he definitely grew on me. Dane Anderson somehow made Shane’s arrogance and nonchalance way more attractive than it should have been.

So many inaccuracies

The plot of the story is good but the execution is so off base. Anyone walking into this world is going to have questions, but the way Jolie was written is just so horrible. Shane character is spot on for a Daddy Dom, not a Pleasure Dom, however Jolie would be considered a little. The closed mindedness of Jolie especially at the club, just awful! Most people who walk into this world would be more open minded, secure in themselves, and accepting of peoples different preferences. Also most would take classes from a trainer before ever entering a club.

Just so many things inaccurate that I had to stop listening and walk away a few times because I just got frustrated with it.

I wish more research had been done to make it more accurate. Because people listening to this may get a whole bunch of wrong ideas on the lifestyle.

Love Shane & Jolie

I had already read this book when it was released and decided to listen to it on audible. The story was just as good the second time around. I love the characters and how their story develops. The female narrator was great. I wasn’t as much of a fan of the male narrator but he did have a nice voice. I just think the female narrator showed more emotion through her narration. All in all, this was an excellent book in both print and audio.

Irresistible Rogue by Jaine Diamond was an alluring and spicy enemies-with-benefits romance that had me intrigued right from the start. Jolie and Shane's journey to HEA was full of a lot of vulnerable moments, witty banter, dominating spice, and a swoony HEA. Plus, the tension between these two was off-the-charts hot.

Alexis Paige and Dane Anderson perform this audiobook in dual narration. This was the first time I'd heard these two narrators, and both did a great job bringing Jaine's words to life. Alexis captured Jolie's conflicted, sassy, and passionate personality perfectly while Dane's deep demanding tone was spot on conveying Shane's alpha, possessive persona. Both narrators brought the heat with Jolie and Shane's fiery tension-filled chemistry.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of an enemies-to-lovers romance with a hot overprotective charismatic hero, a bold curious heroine returning home, a parent's wedding, a Dom/sub relationship, sex clubs, underground fights, lots of spice, and a HEA that is utterly irresistible, then you will love Shane and Jolie's romance. I'm looking forward to more from Jaine Diamond.

Irresistibly Hot

I read this book when it was released back in October and loved it, but the audio takes it to a whole other level. Alexis Paige and Dane Anderson absolutely nail their characters. Jolie is sweet, smart, but a little unsure of what to do after the best one night stand of her life. Shane is pure fire as the sexy alpha pleasure dom. Jaine Diamond is a master at world building and creating characters that you wish were real, and this book is no exception. This is a must read especially if you’re a fan of enemies to lovers!

We always knew Shane was misunderstood

Shane is one of those characters on the outskirts. Always there, sending some zingers into scenes and just being Shane.

I recently started full time work where I can do ebooks. I was sad that I didn’t have time to dive into the print book. This is soooo NSFW!!!! Holy cow do not let your phone auto connect to ANYTHING!!!! It is well worth diving in. I got a whole week at work out of it. The story line is intricate and we just have to look at Shane’s brothers for more stories!

Daddy Dom Voice & All

After reading the book, I knew I had to hear it being read.

While Shane's narrator has a Daddy Dom voice down, it is a lot deeper at times than I imagined for Shane. With that being said, it's still amazing and I loved it!
Jolie enters with the exact voice I had in mind.

Both narrators did an awesome job, and the change in Jaine Diamond's narrators was a nice change of pace. Loved it! recommend it as a good listen!

Glad Shane finally got his story

While I liked the story, it’s my least favorite of the Vancity Villians. The narrators on this one weren’t for me and it took me out of the story too much. I preferred this as an e-book rather than audible.

Love the spice!

Jaine Diamond brought the BDSM with this book and I am SO HERE FOR IT! The spice level in this book was so on point, I will be listening to it over and over!
Shane and Jolie aren't my favorite characters from the intertwined series but I still love their chemistry. Wish it wouldn't have taken a 4 year break but it happens.
They don't have as much trauma as past books but still have their fair share of things to get over in order to be together. It made this book a little less predictable than can be normal in romance books.
I love Jaine's books so much I'm always sad when they are over and this one definitely fits!
Read/listen to it, you won't be sorry!
