Interesting but not a go to

Not bad but not a book I would read again. Interesting story starting off then in both books it was about mid way it finally got really good. You never find out was the entire world bombed or just the USA. WHO and why? Was the mist intended to just wipe out the men? When will the mist kill the women? Will the mist ever just go away? So many unanswered and cliff hangers just there. Why do certain men come back?

Outstanding storytelling

Excellent book! Listened all the way through! Narration was quite good as well with believable characters and distinct voices for each. Very well done!

i loved the story so much! I wanted it to continue, when I saw I was down to the last couple hours I was sad to know it was almost over!

Apocalypse stories have never been my thing..... until now. I only read this because I am a fan of the author. I like her other works, so I gave this a try. Having not read many of this genre, I can't say how original it actually is, but I have not read anything like this, nor have I seen anything like it on TV or in the movies. Mixing magic with life-altering (and life as we know it altering) tragic and even catastrophic events is pure genius. The characters are unbelievably believable, and either likeable or despicable. Well, several of the characters are downright lovable. Lorelei King does an amazing job as narrator.

So good

I love that the girls became friends with Karen I felt so bad for her. I just loved seeing her open up and becoming her true self. The narrator did a good job. The story was fantastic.

amazing colorful characters that speak to the soul of sisterhood. engaging story that hits all the feels in both books. love the vocals spot on.

Story Line

As soon as it starts you want to hear what happens next! hard to put down and hard to stop listening. I could do with a fee more books flet like it was over to soon and want to know the unknown lol

Disturbing

The 4 Core talks about peace and love, but carried out a brutal death sentence for rape. Any teen not completely well rounded and assured of themselves, who reads, or listens, to this book will be confused at best or damaged at worst.
