Even though Author is a fellow Okie and talks of places I have known all my life, I have never been a fan. Also, not a fan of cliff hangers! Authors if you're good, they'll buy! If not, prepare to become better! Don't try to hedge with gimmicks! Having said that, remembering likes and dislikes are relative, THIS IS AN AWESOME STORY!!!! Treat yourself! Loved Stella, Mercury (great name) and Amani. Loved Ford and even Karen. Recommend !!!

What an adventure!
One of the most interesting books I have listened to and I have listened to thousands.
The characters are fascinating, well rounded, and believable.

Wanted to love it
I was drawn in by the story and the characters but did not care for the hateful way some of the characters were portrayed.
The ending was also disappointing.
I don’t think I would chose to read another book by this author.
I did enjoy the narrator and the storyline was interesting.

Really liked it. I got involved in the story and really wanted to know what was going to happen to the characters. Great story telling.

Fun but timely novel
This is a wonderful take on the apocalypse, but from a female perspective. These are the women I want to be around if the apocalypse comes soon!
