Phoebe is great

I wasn't expecting a book 2 in this subseries but I'm glad it came along. Phoebe is a great character, with strengths and weaknesses completely different from her father's. I hope to see it continue and maybe intersect back up with the main series.

Another great addition to the Nightlord collection

Great character development and great story a look into the life of a universe hopping supernatural couple.

What a great series

First, I love the sound of reba buhr's voice. She is amazing. Second, Garon never, never fails to deliver an incredible series.

Garon great job again! Reba does is masterful in the way she voices the cast of characters. Thank you to all that made this work possible.

Masterful as always! The subtle clues in multiple prior books are converging.Ooooo could Converging be the next title?!

Why

The series was my favorite until her. The God you created gets left behind again after waiting over a year. We're stuck with her story that sideways intertwines with knightlord, way too much overthinking everything with hardly any action. You sissified what knightlord should be. 20+ hrs of explaining everything in laborious ways to the point I stop listening until something actionable actually happens & catches my mind again. Bring the old school writing back please, I'm begging you! loved the character set that was established, I get hers is still forming but it's boring now, I don't know a more eloquent way of putting it.

A slog to get through.

I'm not certain what Garon was thinking but the story flow felt jumbled. Frequently I asked myself 'Did Garon even write this? It doesn't feel like him.' Additionally it was hard to listen to Reba Buhr ramble like a cheerleader on Redbull for 26+ hours. Seriously. I had to take it in small 30 minute doses until I dabbled with the pitch tones in my audio card and slowed the audible speed 1/4. By the midpoint Reba sounded like Sade Adu which helped. In a very basic way, I never had much interest in the Phoebe character to begin with. It felt like a side quest to make our protagonists more approachable for 'tween audiences.' Honestly Garon, is that an audience you desire? Your original fans are now drifting in the void looking for something to draw us back. How about a Heavy villain we love to hate? Where art thou arch nemesis? 'No Mr. Bond,..I expect you to die.'
