Once upon a time, three men almost ruined me.

Now they're the only refuge I've got.

Stumbling on the luxury house in the woods seems like a godsend when I'm on the run for my life—until I realize the three men who destroyed me live there.

Jude exercises his demons through his drawings—and I'm his newest obsession.

Nolan is uniquely equipped to manage my medical condition but has a weakness of his own that just might kill him.

And then there's the worst one of all, Rafe. F*cking Rafe, who acts like nothing in the world can touch him—especially me—but wakes up screaming in the night.

They're ruinous evil bastards.

Huge. Reckless. Dangerous.

But they have the key to the mystery I'm trying to solve. And the truth is? I've got nowhere else to go.

Now the question isn't whether I can overcome what they did to me—but whether I'll survive what they have planned for me now.

I love Lilah, our female main character in this book. Her story resonates on a personal level for me. She's been through things that break a person but came out the other side stronger and fighting. The guys are working to make up for their serious mistakes, some more than the other (still want to smack Rafe right now), and I look forward to their redemption arc.

Into the fire starts off with a bang and keeps you hooked, and since this is a trilogy, that means, yes, one heck of a cliffhanger.

One of the best things about Sadie's books is the deep, complex, and complete story lines. Add that smoking hot spice, and you can't go wrong. Can't wait to see the next in this series.

I recommend going back and starting with the Kings and then the Blackwell beasts trilogies. Yes, they are stand-alone, but they are in the same world, and they are just that good.

Thought the story was really good, excellent cliffhanger at the end! I disliked was how narrators Alastair and Erin didn’t converse within one chapter. Each narrator took turns in every chapter, playing both female and the male characters. It would have been nice to hear both narrators within one chapter when Lila, Jude, Rafe, or Nolan spoke. It made the story difficult to follow, but that’s just my opinion. I prefer stories where there are both male and female narrators within the same chapter. Overall, really good story. Suspenseful!

If you have not read the 3rd book of Blackwell Beasts do not listen. This book is a heavy spoiler. The 3rd book for Blackwell Beast should have been released first before this book on audio. But, at the end of the day I’m excited to finish this series. I love how all the characters rope into a new series, all while keeping the same story line of the kidnapped girls. I’m normally a really big Mafia Romance reader, but this Blackwell series is really interesting me. I’m excited for what’s to come.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

The guys post nude photo yo her whole class puts her in mental hospital from the drama of it and she is still lusts for them. Story line is maddeningly stupid.

Main character Lila is a loon
