Has its high moments

It is overall good. It has a lot of depth, and the narrators are excellent. However, be prepared for nearly 16 hours of self-doubt.

Have recommended this book to EVERYONE

I loved this book!! I have called/texted all my reader friends to tell them to get this book. The only thing that is grating is Noah calling Shay his WIFE like every other page... it's irritating...however, everything else about this story just hits for me!

Where in the hell is my Noah? That 1st spice scene in the kitchen, then the 2nd time when Noah breaks out the pillow to position Shay... mmmm... it's a delicious story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The humor, the emotions, the wonderful characters. I laughed so hard at times, especially at Gennie and her foul mouth. Shay and Noah felt like old friends and I was cheering for them the whole time. This will be a reread for me whenever I need a pick up.

The narration is phenomenal. The characters just came to life.

This was a very good story. Great job Kate Canterbury. The narrators were on point. This was a believable story at times I was in tears. The only thing I didn’t like was the way the niece would cuss and wasn’t corrected I realized they way the child experienced grown folks talking when she was with her mom but that’s no reason to not chastise her to lead her in the right way. Like is said good story.

Excellent Story

Kate Canterbury has written a poignant story full of young lovers who find each other at confusing times of their lives. The story is a satisfying mix of insight into the character's angst in finding each other as people at different times of their lives. A great read, I finished it in a day!

Loved it!

I loved everything about this Audible book except the language. The book would have been wonderful without the profanity, especially when a child uses it. But, nevertheless, I will listen to more from this author. I gave performance a 4 due to some of the narration was not good at times.
