When their fathers are away, Stas and Nell are kidnapped by Arabs as part of a rebellion against British rule.

Once captured, the children are forced to travel through the Sahara Desert, and they face all manner of obstacles, from heat and hunger to disease and deadly animals. Fun book

Please record more Henryk Sienkiewicz books! Some my find this kind of children’s adventure book a little outdated, but it is a lot of fun. It is narrated very well, and a pleasure to listen to.

Utterly entrancing fairy tale

This is a story originally written for children and young adults, but I found it beguiling, almost believable, but, as the story unfolded, compelling listening. The narration was superb, and perfect for this story. It is a book you would want to listen to many times.
