Overall the story was not bad. The storyline is quite exciting and overall very good. But for some reason, I haven’t felt myself drawn into the story with any real excitement like I am used to with good stories. But overall it’s worth reading.

Great series
I really enjoy this type of story, an op mc is time jumped into a new world where he has to start over with superior knowledge and ability.

Turning out to be a great series.
I love that this MC is helping the people around him to become stronger and to support each other better.
There are some wonderful characters that the author has us rooting for.
There's lots of fun, adventure and action.
I give this book 7.5 out of 5 stars.

👏👏👏👏👏👏I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job J Parsons!

I quite liked this book. if you enjoy a time jump, action and adventure book you will love this series it keeps you on your toes and draws you into the story.. I liked the 2 different narrators it helped draw out the story.

Enjoyable, great slice of life moments and battles
This serious is a lot of fun. And I plan to go back from the beginning again sometime in the future…
I’ll update my review then.
Anyway, this book picks up after the last book not to long afterwards. Our MC, Verdant, is still getting used to his new place in life. And endeavoring to help the community around him while empowering them so they can rise up against the Whispering Death or whatever other group of bullies come to town. Seeking to take all they want while giving nothing in return. No matter what lies they spit!
I did enjoy Verdant’s growth in this one as he seems to truly rise out of his dark past and into his brighter future. One with friends and maybe even a love interest…
I hope the series continues! The narrators still give a great performance.

Great second book!
Really enjoying this series! And while at times I find myself grinding my teeth and mumbling that the MC need to get off good high horse and just get stuff done… it is also very understandable why he thinks and hesitates and has the doubts he does! Great narration, and Can’t wait for number 3!!
