This is a kisses only, sweet romance.

A best man, a maid of honor, and a matchmaking bride and groom.

I was torn to pieces when Jamie left town and ended things, even though I knew it wasn’t the last time I would see him.

Jamie is my best friend’s brother and my brother’s best friend.

They're getting married.

Making me the maid of honor, and Jamie the best man.

I know, I know—totally cliché.

It’s not a big deal. I’m an adult, and I’ve gotten over heartbreak before.

Getting over Jamie will be no different.

Except for my meddling family, and the fact that he told me he missed me every day he was away.

He missed me but didn’t call. Yeah, right.

I can handle this. I’ve got a heart of steel. I’ll be fine.

I just didn’t expect him to show up with a blow torch.

I’d Never Date My Best Friend’s Brother is the second book I have read written by Abby Greyson, and it was a pleasure. This is the third book in the Bake My Day With Love series, though it could be read as a stand-alone.

I was able to enjoy the audiobook copy of this book. Zach Young and Lexi Balter narrated the book, and they did a great job. Having the male and female parts narrated was a fun dynamic that you don’t always get. It really helped bring this book to life.

The storyline was cute. Jamie’s sister and Evie’s brother are getting married on Christmas Eve. As Best Man and Maid of Honor, they are thrown together to try and help with wedding duties. They have had long-time feelings and had an undefined relationship before things were left as just friends. When Jamie comes back to town, he needs to make a decision to make things official or stay just friends. With help from his sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law, things get pushed along as they play matchmaker. I loved the banter and the flirting. All in all, a cute, sweet story.

This second-chance, best friend’s brother romance is the perfect clean, kisses-only romance.

Audio Review:
This is a duet narration. Lexi Barter and Zach Young are assigned to the MCs as well as Lexi narrating the rest of the female characters and Zach narrating the rest of the male characters no matter the POV. If you knew that, that is awesome. But as for me, I had no idea there were audiobooks like this, which I liked.
I love Lexi’s acting. And Zach’s vulnerable moments, amazing. And the times Zach whispers Jamie’s parts to Evie were AMAZING! I had to stop so many times because of all the second hand blushing I was feeling. Lexi and Zach will not shy away from acting with their voices.

Book Review:
This is a second chance romance between a brother’s best friend and a best friend’s brother who happens to be engaged.

Sean and Jessica as with the rest of the family have made it their mission for operation: get Evie and Jamie together. There are sibling schemings of games and wedding planning going rogue. Abbey Greyson has put together a holiday wedding/matchmaking book. It made me laugh and get emotionally.

This was a fun story and I just loved the idea of the story. Envisioning the best friend is getting married and the bride and groom play matchmaker with all their wedding activities for you and the best man. It was pretty great! The female narrator was good, but I didn't love the male, but he grew on me to being ok. They didn't take away from the story at all.

A great second chance romance with enemies to more feels or more accurately, hurt feelings and stupidity to forgiveness. Jamie made a dumb choice in how he left 6 months ago when he started a new job. He now must navigate his way thru forgiveness and get Evie to see he has realized his mistake.

I loved the vulnerability of Jamie showing his love to Evie and her being open in showing her hurt. I loved the interconnected characters from the other books. I liked the dual narrators. I love that this book is now in audio format.

There are no swears, minor mentions of alcohol, and level 1 kisses only. Present tense, first person, Dual POV.

A sweet kisses only romance.
