Wonderful Discworld/YA

So smart. Discusses adult concepts with seriousness, insight, and (of course) humor. When reading this, it feels like proudly watching your daughter become the adult she was meant to be.

Fantastic, I can't wait to read it again!

I don't normally like to tread where I've already been. Stories stick in my head and once I've heard a scripted rendition of a story it seems a waste to watch again when I could just watch it from my minds eye.
But Terry Pretchet's books spark and initiate the mind, if you can understand them, in a way where revisiting them causes greater understanding and heavier laughter.

adore the author and the entire series

Terry Prachett was a heinous. Every book is hilarious and endearing. the actors/story tellers make it the perfect treat.

A good conclusion to the Tiffany Aching series

Could have used a couple more voice actors but it was still well managed by talented voices .

The story is wonderful and the storytelling is marvelous. I highly recommend this and all of Terry's work, whether read or listened to, especially by this group.

How do the books keep being this good?!

The penultimate book in the Tiffany Aching series of Discworld books. I am shaken by each and every book. These are the kinda of books I wish I had when I was younger, to walk with Tiffany as she learned to be a witch… and I learned how to be me! Now Tiffany is getting older and I am too, she keeps facing troubles and… this is the important part… she keeps facing them. Thank you Terry Pratchett.

Terry always crafted by stories filled with both humorr, and wisdom. I always have enjoyed reading his work.

Another amazing book and performance

This is another amazing book and performance. It particularly meaningful to me at this time.Tje death of the Baron made me think of the passing of my own 86-year-old dad two months ago. Pratchett nails it as he does with so many other things

Unsurprisingly Excellent*

This is a short, and very biased review. I have loved every book written by Terry Pratchett that I've had the fortune to read (that's most, but not yet all of them), and this is no exception.

This audio version is very well done, and wonderfully performed.

*The musical flourish is used to indicate a footnote. I found this very confusing for the first few chapters, then, once I'd figured this out, very irritating for several more. Eventually, however, I did get used to it and can now say I just don't like it.
I always thought that simply saying the word "footnote", then reading the footnote, made a lot more sense and less disruption. But others might disagree, and the audiobook still ranks 5/5 (rounding up).
