Publisher's Summary

When CIA operative Agent Zero finds out his two teenage girls have been kidnapped and are bound for a trafficking ring in Eastern Europe, he embarks on a high-octane chase across Europe, leaving a trail of devastation is his wake as he breaks all rules, risks his own life, and does everything he can to get his daughters back.

Kent, ordered by the CIA to stand down, refuses. Without the backing of the agency, with moles and assassins on all sides, with a lover he can barely trust, and being targeted himself, Agent Zero must fight multiple foes to get his girls back.

Up against the most deadly trafficking ring in Europe, with political connections reaching all the way to the top, it is an unlikely battle - one man against an army - and one that only Agent Zero can wage.

And yet, his own identity, he realizes, may be the most perilous secret of all.

Action Packed!

Book three in the Kent Steele/Reed Lawson series is completely absorbing. The story is categorized as espionage. It fails into the thriller rather than the tactical side of this genre.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The previous ended with Reed Lawson 's daughters getting kidnapped by an assassin. Steele has already killed the man twice (or so he thought) but both times he survived. The assassin is convinced that it is his destiny to kill Steele. He leads Kent on a chase that appears to have no rhyme or reason and Kent is unable to predict where he will end. When he finally gets to the final destination, the assassin has left the country with his daughters who have been sold to traffickers for foreign sex trade.
When Reed finally catches up and faces off with his would be killer he learns that not all events in the past two years are what he's been told. There's someone on the CIA out to get him.
This is a fast paced action packed book from end to end. Multiple storylines and likable characters.
Edoardo Ballerini does an outstanding job narrating.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Disappointed in ending

I enjoyed the first two books. The final book in the series was ok until the ending. The author owes his readers a book 4 with a more positive ending.

Suspenseful

Excellent and suspenseful right up to the very end. As a father myself, I can only imagine to what lengths I would go to to rescue my own children; I was very in tune with his emotions.
Only two comments of "critique;" The author should say "magazine" instead of "clip" when he refers to the part of a semi-automatic pistol that holds the bullets. Also, he should say "helicopter" instead of "chopper."
"Clip" and "chopper" take away from the realism of the otherwise great story.
