Publisher's Summary

Have you ever wondered what separates people who think bigger from people who set their bars low? What makes one person accept low standards and another person constantly raise them?

Why does one person strive to build an international organization affecting the lives of millions of people while another person is content working her entire life as a clerk? (Not that there's anything wrong with being a clerk!)

Why is one person challenging herself to run marathons, train her body, and get fitter while another is happy living a sedentary, unhealthy lifestyle?

What drives a person who's optimizing every single aspect of her life, and what causes another person to maintain the status quo?

You can say, "Well, the answer is simple enough - one person is ambitious while the other one is not." But what exactly causes it? How do you become more ambitious and think bigger? Is it something you're born with and can't change, or is it something over which you have control?

I found this topic so fascinating, I decided to find out the answer for myself and write a book about it. This book is the result of my research about people who think big and the science of being more ambitious.

Short, sharp and shiny

One of the best single hours I've spent listening to a book. So many small nuggets to take away. Will have to listen to it again. And can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

Straightforward Advice from Martin Meadows

I have been reading Martin's book for a while and have found all of them to contain not only useful, but practical information in short story format. This is the first audio book I have listened to of his and enjoyed the narration.
Martin delivers straightforward, thoughtful advice on thinking bigger and you get all of the advice in an audio format for you to listen to while you are working out, driving or just relaxing.

If you are expecting a long drawn out story, you won't find it here. Martin does a great job getting to the point on why we fail at challenging ourselves and providing a summary at the end of each Chapter, which is great for those who don't like to waste time.

A Quick Listen for Daily Reminder

I've listened to this twice now. I enjoy how this book is short and yet fully packed. The tips and motivations are straightforward and there are a lot of actionable items to get you closer to accomplishing bigger things.
It's a great reminder of things you might have already heard before and know deep down, but as they say Repetition is the Mother of all learning. Your subconscious mind will be able to digest the information as you continue to listen to it.

Slightly different than Martin's normal books

I've enjoyed almost all of Martin's books, and this one is a little bit different than most of the books he's put out so far. Most of them revolve around some form of self-discipline, but this one focuses on how to expand your universe & 'Think Bigger.' I think it's a great refresher for everyone to be reminded about how we can get stuck in our routines and close ourselves off to opportunity.

I think the book is worth a read, and I like the audiobook version because it's an easy way to get a pick me up when I need it. I can load it on my phone & listen in the car or on a bike ride or a run. I do like the book as well. I own it & have read it several time. The author offered a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for a review, so I took it. Great book, great audiobook. I think you'll like either one, depending on if you'd rather read or listen to your books.
