If you want to listen to a short (by comparison) lecture that covers the foundation of the Map of Consciousness, this is it. I own dozens of Doc's lectures yet I turn back to this one a couple of times a month. EXCELLENT!

Informative, practical and entertaining

What did you like best about this story?

An easy to follow explanation of his method, its validity, its context and human consciousness, delivered with humour and humility, Hawkins offers sanity and practical wisdom about consciousness and why it is important to raise yours. He also points out ways to do so.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I think he did a very credible job. There were a few seemingly "religious" comments but when he explained his own personal context later, I found they were okay. He spoke about his stint both as a religious person, an atheist, and a spiritual person.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had several "Aha!" moments and could visualize easily what he was describing. It left me feeling more informed and edified.

For anyone with an interest in what human consciousness is and why it is important - Hawkins presents a great primer and follow up in this tome.
