As someone who spends all day with childhood trauma, I want people to understand that it's deeply distressing and harmful, often resulting in lasting emotional, psychological, and physical effects. These experiences can include abuse, neglect, witnessing violence, significant loss, or accidents, and childhood trauma can impact various aspects of a person's life, including their relationships, mental health, and overall well-being. This is so true, right from the author’s mouth: “This is not about pointing blame”. It’s true that so many of us have suffered some kind of neglect growing up that is navigating our lives subconsciously (I recommend the works of great author’s such as Bruce Lipton to really get into the subconscious programming period of our lives) and we must put effort in to overcome these traumas if we want a healthier and higher quality of life. Which is why I love this kind of self-help stuff. The narration is not dull and monotonous as usually found within this genre. The narrator maintains a vibe of empowerment while remaining cognicient of layering incredible information on top of incredible information for the listener that is sure to bring about change is put into implementation. My favorite thing about this great audio title is the emphasis on transmuting old wounds into strength via actionable methods. Highly recommeneded for anyone looking to clear out what the author calls “heavy emotions” and “wounding unprocessed feelings that have damaging effects”.
