Publisher's summary

Take the mystery out of meditation, and change your life for the better.

Meditation is a simple practice available to all.

Research over the past two decades concludes that mindfulness meditation exerts beneficial effects on physical and mental health as well as cognitive performance. This means you can reduce stress and increase calmness, clarity, and happiness.

Billionaire hedge fund manager Ray Dalio was quoted as saying, “Meditation, more than anything in my life, was the biggest ingredient of whatever success I’ve had.”

We often catch ourselves in obsessive thinking. Spending many hours every day gaming or browsing online may go unnoticed. Meditation is the first step to reaching a higher level of awareness, inner calm, and mindfulness.

For experienced meditation guidance, this audiobook will blow the cobwebs off and invigorate you. For a beginner, this book is all you need to master your mind.

In this audiobook, you will discover:

  • Steps on how to sit and what to do with your eyes, hands, etc
  • Use of the five senses to gain clarity and focus
  • Over nine different ways of meditation and choosing the best way for you
  • Elite-level meditations used daily by superstar basketball player Kobe Bryant
  • The benefits of moving meditation
  • Three ways to start practicing them now
  • Top tips for practicing mindfulness in your everyday life
  • Antidotes to negative states of mind
  • Guided meditations for deep relaxation or sleep
  • And much, much more...

Imagine feeling less stressed and eventually reaching a higher level of awareness and inner calm. And you won’t need an instructor, a custom mantra, or need to visit a Buddhist Temple.

All you need is a little patience and the knowledge contained in this audiobook.

Helpful Meditation Book for Beginners

I totally don't have any background in meditation. I heard the benefit of meditation so I would like to know more.
The author introduces why meditation is helpful and then goes through different types of meditation.
After listening to this book, I have a better understanding of meditation and know how to make it.
Note: There is no practice section in the book, so you may need to find your own music to practice.

Practical Guide

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
This practical guide about mindfulness and meditation is terrific. From the history of mindfulness and meditation through what to wear during your practice, this book covers it all. I appreciate that there are many types of meditation explored, and a detailed description of each type is provided. It is also helpful that the chapters are labeled, so you can easily jump back to any specific information you want to revisit. Although thorough, the information was presented in a clear and concise way that held my interest and made me excited to try mindfulness and meditation in my own life.
