This book is designed to break down the trials and tribulations of achieving a long-term goal. It thoroughly explains how to grow physically while developing, shaping, and strengthening muscles. More importantly, it is also a blueprint for realizing any long-term goal, fitness-related or not.
I use my personal experience to give examples of real-life situations for every step. The information that I have gathered is an accumulation of the best advice I have read, heard, and witnessed over the past six years or so. It was originally compiled to selfishly help me. Now, I want to share it with everyone who feels the same way I did, and still do, about completing a daunting, time-consuming task.
It contains explicit workout routines ranging from beginner to challenging level of difficulty, for any level of gym experience.
Chapters including, but not limited to, my approach to:
- Sacrifices
- Food, when wanting to grow and gain muscle
- Music in the gym
- Being underestimated
- Pain
- Patience
This audiobook will not only show you how to grow as big as you want to in the gym, it will also illustrate the mentality that will manifest in the completion of any desired goal. I simply use my goal as an example of how to execute the necessary steps, which add up to the realization of any goal. This is to demonstrate not only why you should try to complete a desired goal, but that it’s possible to do so.

Motivational for beginners/intermediate in physical fitness
Excellent story that goes to show that your mindset is even more important at times than your physical ability to lift weights or complete a task. As someone with intermediate experience in weightlifting, this made me want to get back into a regular workout routine again and try the tips mentioned because I believe it would show a big difference in performance. Good read for beginners as well who are unsure about taking the first step in a physical fitness routine.

Excellent book
I give it 5 stars because Ryan explained the steps and everything he had been trough to achieve his goal to grow bigger from his own experience and give you tips so you can do it too. Thank you Ryan your book helped me a lot.

Learn about both the Body and Mind!
How to Grow Bigger and Strong Muscles by Growing the Mind was an awesome listen! As a long time lifter, I found Ryan's advice practical and undervalued. His chapter and recommendation to focus more on compound lifts to increase size is super beneficial, and often overlooked. I've implemented more compound lifts into my routine and have seen quite a difference. Possibly the most important thing Ryan discusses, is how he trained his mind. The chapters on the mind can be used in any aspects of life by those who don't care for lifting . I also liked hearing Ryan's transformation story, and coming from his own voice in the audio format was a great experience! Overall, highly recommend.
