Awesomeness Fun.

This story is continued from the last book, so read in order. I love this series. It is so funny and there is always a crazy adventure happening. I do love a good children's book. Gobber the Belch is my favorite character, with Stoic coming in close. I think it is great that there is a classification of the different types of dragons and a strength category, the only part where I wish I had the actual books to look at. I love the narration it really helps to visualize the story. I will defiantly be listening to all of the books in this series, maybe a couple times.

What is a true friend ?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to be listened to, by any age !!!
It has a moral to the whole story, team work + true friends !!

What did you like best about this story?

I truly enjoyed each page as I heard them. Disappearing, in to the story ! To pick one part is hard. If I had to choose,
I guess, the best part is the last two chapters. What a friend would do, to help another friend !! Hiccup + Fish Legs. Both, are tested !!

What about David Tennant’s performance did you like?

He places the listener, in the story. Excellent with the variety of voices he does, to perfection !! I enjoyed each of David Tennant's, characters !!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Did not have the time with children's attention spans. But yes, I shall, listen to this in its entirety !!

Any additional comments?

If you listen + like this book. Check out books # 1, 2, 3 & 4 !!
Just as thrilling but truly different stories. Except the Viking part + dragons :-)

They add more music every book...

Overall I love this series and David Tennant brings all the characters to vivid life. Too much music between chapters for my taste, though. (The music itself is fine, but it's not what I listen to audiobooks for.)

Awesome book😀😃😄😁😂

Well I really like this book because it’s just fun and people have to love it so honestly I love the how to train your Dragon books but this is probably the best one I’ve read so far so thank you audible for having it although I don’t like whenever the reader screams for help but the best thing about this is the read so i’ve given business books this rating and review because it’s a great book

great

This is a great book for listening to on long car rides with young boys (or girls). The Dr does an amazing job at setting voices for each character and the music give a bit extra to the experience.

Awful rendition of Toothless almost ruined book

The story itself took a while to develop - at least when listening in small incremental episodes with my kid - but once the book hits its stride, it is a fun and compelling listen. That said, I almost didn't get that far because the rendition of Toothless was, in a word, unforgivable. The decision to portray Toothless as a whiny, petulant, toddler is completely at odds with the movie depiction and I absolutely hated the voice over chosen for his character. So much so that I almost quit the book. Fortunately, as the story picks up, Toothless becomes less integral to the story and one can listen in peace.

Fantastic series

Tennant’s narration is perfect for this series up uplifting, don’t be scarred, you can face the day books. The orchestral music bolsters the authors words and skillfully enhances the story. Tenant and the composed original music complete the masterpieces of fiction sculpted by the author. The series is suitable for any age and inspires and reminds us of what is important in life. Moving forward, making the choices that are correct even when others may frown on those choices, from building friendships to thinking under pressure, to doing what right especially when not easy peasy to do. Hold your head high and don’t give in to bullies. Do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. Joyful and playful lessons for life. Lessons for leadership; humbleness, tact, follow when it is right to do so and don’t when it isn’t. The clever contrarian stands his ground.
