I enjoy this book because I want to build a house and it lays out each stage in an easy-to-understand manner. Building on suitable land and the benefits and usefulness of engaging a land surveyor are often underestimated. These details are frequently missed. I really appreciated how the book offered price estimates!

An amazing resource for building a home. This was a confidence booster for sure. It did great to guide the process from start to finish. My favorite part was how to hire contractors, how to negotiate with them, and what you can do to save money along the journey. I’d recommend this for independent builder to give themselves a major advantage and skip all the pitfalls.
