Largely confined to his home, Daniel spends the hours he’s not online communicating with irate air travelers observing his neighborhood from his front porch. One young woman passes by so frequently that spotting her out the window has almost become part of his daily routine. Until the day he’s almost sure he sees her being kidnapped....

Great story. Loved the ending

Well written, original perspective. So very good. Two thumbs up from me. I recommend it

Incredible story

This story drew me in immediately and had me holding my breath for the last hour. No idea where it was going to go. The narrator was one of the best I have heard. His ability to give each character a distinct voice amazed me. I loved hearing Daniel’s commentary throughout. The author gives great light and depth to a character who cannot always express himself to others.

Enjoyable

I liked learning about SMA & the story was entertaining, but sometimes confusing listening to the emails—I couldn’t tell whose email was whose & seemed repetitive at times.

Good listen

I purchased this book as an Audible deal of the day because of the Stephen King endorsement. The reader gave a very authentic performance. Like the protagonist, I am from Illinois and now live near the University of Georgia, so I enjoyed those references. I also finished the book with more knowledge about SMA, which is good. The thriller aspect of the story progressed in a predictable way, but I still had a good time.

Phenomenal story with phenomenal narrator

It’ll surprise you in its simplicity and its complexity. You’ll love it! Be sure to listen to the end.

Ended up liking this book, but…

. Not what I expected, but gives a good understanding of SMA and life and thoughts of a disabled person. Suspenseful part at the end. The voices of the different characters were excellent.

Makes you Think

This book was a delight. Great characters. It Portrays humour and compassion. The book also gave the reader good examples of communicating with people with disabilities.
