Lewis Howard Latimer, a brilliant engineer, who has an interesting connection to the origin of the light bulb and telephone that many of us have no idea about. This is an important African American story, and it was written with the hope that it will motivate the next generation to find interest and excel in areas like science, technology, engineering, and math.

Riveting!

It’s one riveting and inspiring story that has highlighted some significant events of African Americans ‘history. I have to say, Joseph Batzel’s narration nailed it!

it's nice to have the ebook copy, too.

And because this one's compelling to the point I am eager to let my children listen to it, I'm also getting the ebook version for its pictures. Or the paperback copy?

Good story.

My niece loves it whenever I tell her stories before bedtime. And as I have guessed, she likes this! How she wants to follow the footsteps of Lewis Howard Latimer.

It stirred my kid's interest.

I got the audio book first to access if the paperback version will be worth purchasing and it is! It’s not just another kid’s story but there’s an important lesson attached to it. It’s a great way to stir my kid’s interest with African-American stories.

Nice bedtime story.

There’s something special about Ramon Robinson and Brandon Feeny’s work. My girl played it repeatedly, can’t stop listening to it again and again. Nice bedtime story if you ask me.

It's pretty short yet remarkable.

The Robinson family inspired me and my kids to make room for bonding moments more. Although reading books are just simple ways, we are enjoying it immensely. This is a 9-minute audiobook, but a remarkable one!

A unique one!

Earl’s head is full of questions. Through this interactive audiobook imparts the value of thinking a child’s way through problems and continuing to stay curious like how Lewis Howard Latimer used to be.

I didn’t expect it will be this good this considering the book’s only 9-minute short. It inspires and triggers a child’s creativity and curiosity about a race’s past.
