Stunning work

Darcy Coates has had me captived by her work since I discovered her by accident. House of Shadows has done just that. I can't wait to read the next.

absolutely love this book it has everything storyline's fantastic. if you love old houses ghost and sweet love and a chilling storyline this is the book for you

Loved it - but romance

Great characters & story, loved the setting & haunting.

I really wish they'd start tagging these with romance though, stop promising me horror and it's a shallow love story + horror. ^^' Leaves a lot more to be desired from the characters imo, but leaving this a 5 stars since I'm super biased.

Another great story

Story and narrator were fantastic. I can't wait to see what Darcy dreams up next.

Atmospheric thriller with great characters!

This was a wonderful performance of another great thriller by Darcy Coates! I highly recommend this book to any horror or thriller lover

SO FUN & Mystical!!!

This book was very FUN & kept me on my toes & edge of my seat, Love, Love, Love it!!!

One of the most stupid books I've ever heard!

I rarely write a review. However, this was one of the most painfully stupid and boring books I've even had the agony of listening to. I bought it mostly because of the Narrator, but even she could not raise this banal torture device to the level of anything positive. Please, please don't put yourself through listening to the main character state she loves her husband whom she has only known for a few days, and during those few days, she only saw him briefly—or listening to her wax about how he calls her "darling" when he has only said more than ten words to her. I could go on and on but I can't wait to be rid of its taste in my mouth or ears.

Not much to like

annoying main character, boring story, it did have a few creepy moments but not enough to redeem the rest.
