Publisher's Summary

Every time I turn around, new opponents are looking to knock me down. No part of the magical community is safe. And now my enemies have left me with a horrible accusation hanging over my head, using so many tricks I can barely defend myself.

If I want to clear my name and keep my freedom, I have to turn to the guys who once made my life hell. They've changed their tune and made amends, but how far can I really count on them? Especially if they find out that my greatest foes are within their families.

I'm going to have to find out. The truth can't stay hidden forever. But no matter what the villains in the university and beyond it throw at me, I won't give in. I'm the last of the Bloodstones...and hanging onto that role may be the only way I can save everything that matters to me.

Trial

Well that was an intense book. Malcolm finally comes around to Roy's side. A big trial happens. A shocking revelation happens at the end. Rory still can't trust anyone, well maybe the other scions. More action happens with Rory and her guys. It will be really interesting to see what happens in the next book.

4-4.5 stars for book 4 in this amazing RH series!

This was a tough part of the story but I thought it was well placed and very well done. We know Rory couldn't do what she is accused of, but how does she prove it to everyone else?? I thoroughly enjoyed the progression with a couple of the scions and Rory, like I couldn't stop smiling with their tender moments, vulnerability, and some of the sexy scenes...yes please, keep them coming!! I was happy to see one of the side characters step up, even if something was in it for her, and I am intrigued how she develops as the story progresses. I was happy to see Malcolm finally stop harassing Rory and help her like the others. I loved seeing Declan come out of his shell too and Connar is so protective and I want one in my life. I thought Jude's background and side story was super convincing and sad and I am happy the funny one of the bunch has Rory in his corner, to help him through all of this and to keep his head on straight when others try to mess with it (most importantly himself). I think the court proceedings was intriguing but I had hoped for Rory and the guys to get more information/support before the one witness spoke up. I CANNOT WAIT for the barons to get what's coming to them but I know I am going to have my heart broken based on some reviews for the future books before we get that HEA haha. Makes sense since its only book 4 of 8!!

Narration again, gets better and better each time. I could feel the sadness and defeatedness Rory kept feeling, made me want to hug her through my kindle app. I felt Jude and Connar's love for Rory, and Declan's want that he couldn't give into. I felt Malcolm's resolve to do the right thing despite his father's backlash.

I thought this was a great plot-filled book and I was happy see some sexy times starting to happen more often haha. I would recommend this series to any RH fan. I like that Eva didnt forget about the academy aspect. We still deal with classes, powers, etc. I am already halfway through book 5 and I know book 6 is gonna destroy me 😭

Incredibly Intriguing!

My goodness!! What an incredibly intriguing and entertaining edition!!! I have to say how freaking much I adore Eva Chase!!! She draws out these intense plots and then she hits you with the very scene that you've been so eagerly anticipating!! And what a beautiful present she has gifted us readers with!! Rory faces her biggest challenge yet, clearing herself of murder. Her fellow scions are along side her and offering assistance with anything she requires, be it gathering information, brainstorming or bestowing a kiss or more. We see more of the corruption in both the joymancer and fearmancer worlds, proving that both are horribly flawed. But... which side is the lesser of two evils? Rory will have to sort that out as she continues to navigate her new world. I love the multiple points of view as reading the inner thoughts of Rory's guys keeps you glued to these pages and giving a few awes along the way. There were so many tender moments that you can't help but want to be in Rory's shoes during those scenes! I have to gush over the fact that this is not soley a passion driven story, there is story depth, memorable characters and a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Not all RH series can boast of those qualities!! Bravo to Ms. Chase who sets the bar exceptionally high!!! 💗💗💗💗

A trial and scions

it's amazing to see how the Scions come together to help Rory in her upcoming trial. and just how close they become as friends and as a unit of Scions together

It’s good but the narrators elevate it!

This is book four of this series. In here everyone or most are starting to realize that they are fighting against something bigger. They decide to join forces once Rory is charged with murder. While I like these stories this will prob be my last in the series. I loved it at the beginning but it seems to be redundant now. I have been losing interest in the characters and what happens to them

I did listen on Audio. Meg Sylvan and Stephen Dexter do a great job! All those different voices!

Excellent and a plot twist

Through the book the struggles Rory is faced with the conviction of the murder of her friend.
Even in dark times she managed to survive.

But this cliffhanger, the plot twist at the end. Hmmm Eva Chase, this makes want to scream out no. And literally half scrabble to get the next book and find out what Rory is going to do next

It just keeps getting better!!!

Ok so now Rory has been accused of murder!!! The Scions and Rory must work together to prove her innocence and find out who is doing this to Rory. Well we know it is the Barrons but we still don't know why. The relationships between Rory and Declan, Connor & Jude all heat up in this book. Also Malcom and her start to get closer and he plays a big part in her trial. The tension between mages and naries is at an all time high in this book and I just know that something is going to break there soon. This book has not as big a cliffhanger as book 3 but let's just say I can't wait to see what happens next. As always Stephen and Mag do an amazing job with the story. #Audiobx Reviewer

Enemies at every corner!

This forth installment of the Royals of Villain Academy starts off where the last book concluded. Rory has been accused of a crime she did not commit. All the evidence points at her being the killer and she has to race against time to figure out how to prove her innocence.

Narration continues to be excellent and definitely brings the story to life.

The series keeps getting better and better with each book I read. The story sucks you in and keeps you entertained from beginning to conclusion.

The Scions step up to the challenge to help Rory clear her name. Even Malcolm is coming around and abandoning his ruthless ways! Finally! The Barons will stop and nothing to try to control Rory. I’m so glad our heroine has an amazing group of guys to help her through this challenging time.

The book concludes with a bombshell! So onto book 5 to see what will happen next!

Amazing story, great narration

What a way to end a story?!
So glad I have the next book downloaded to listen straightaway!!
This series is proving to be one of the best audiobook collections I’ve ever listened to. Credit to the author for writing such fantastic characters and an exciting story but also the narrators are so good, they’re why I’m still enthralled and listening eagerly.

Amazing

When I finished the last book I started this one right away. This book focus in proving Rory's innocence with the help of the other scions (even Malcolm!). Still fast paced, filled with magic, adventure, romance (some steamy scenes...). And once again, an unexpected ending.
The characters and the story are growing amazingly, and the narrators are really good. It's easy to differentiate the characters.

It keeps getting better!

I absolute love this series and the characters more with each book that is released.

Rory has been framed for murder and with the help of the other scions, she has only a few weeks to prove her innocence. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how Rory was going to clear her name. The slow burn RH relationship between the scions and Rory really starts to heats up; that scion lounge scene was everything.

If you haven't started this series yet, you need to,

This series keeps on giving

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.

After that shocking last cliffhanger I had to jump straight onto the next book where I wasn’t disappointed!! Twists and turns and a doozy of a cliffhanger! Rory and the guys need to prove Rorys innocence for her trial. Just when you think you can’t love the characters any more than you already do, this series just keeps on giving. Especially with such a passionate, strong and kind female lead. I really can’t wait for the next book.

This audio will charm you

Book 4 in the series. Eva has gone full out with this series. It will grab the whole of you and not let you go. Your always wondering what next . Right when you figure out what is happening you get what’s next . Rory is in a Jam. She got framed for murder . She’s taken away from the University with the black suits . The black suits keep her in a holding cell . They put links on her hands so Rory can’t use her magic . All 3 of her Scions try to help her . They try to find evidence that will clear her name . Rory gets shocked when Malcom shows up and bring her Deb . Malcom is outraged how they are treating her .
Declan plays her part beautifully , he finds a loophole within the law and gets Rory free from the holding cell . Lilian ( her moths best friend) just assumes that Rory will use her as a lawyer . But the Barons and the black suits don’t know Rory or her men real well , because during the trial Rory throws the Villains for a loop . Malcom just blew his fathers mind away believing in Rory . How did Rory win the trial

Meg and Stephen performance was fantastic. Love how they brought the voices for each character to life

Dropped a bomb!

Eva, you dropped a bomb on me with this one! I finished book 3 thinking that the cliffhanger was a spiteful lashing out from the grandparents and boy was I wrong! I love how this wasn't as straightforward as it could have been, that what I expected to happen wasn't what happened.

I love the way that the harem is growing and evolving (that scene in the scion lounge was amazing! And I love her attitude about the whole thing)

And, of course, another huge cliffhanger at the end of this book. I'm so lucky the next in the series is due to release soon, I don't know how I'd cope!

Loving the storyline

Even though I wouldnt say they were stand alone books they are very good and the story is wanting me to listen to book after book. Just as one mystery is solved it opens up more questions that I must know the answer too.

Narration is well done and each character is more defined now.

Cant wait for the next in the series.
