Publisher's Summary

With the nation on the verge of war, security takes on new meaning for Secret Service Agent Cameron Roberts, whose lover just happens to be the President’s daughter.

First daughter Blair Powell and her “secret” Secret Service agent lover, Cameron Roberts, intend to get married - with her father’s blessing. But being in the spotlight isn’t the safest place to be in a country still reeling from 9/11 and with the domestic terrorists who tried to assassinate Blair still at large.

Cam doesn’t want to give up the reins of control when Blair’s life is at stake, but there are other dangers at home and abroad that the President needs her to investigate - including the whereabouts of her previous lover - Valerie Ross. The next in the Honor series is novel of romance and intrigue in a world gone mad.

Each in this series better than the last!

It's nearly impossible to say very much about the plot with books like these in a series without giving something significant away. That said, the surprise from the last book plays a significant role in this one and there was an exciting and thrilling sequence that had me on the edge of my seat!
These really do continue getting better with each installment. And Abby Craden is ridiculously good at doing them. I have to make myself space these out but it's so hard because they all pick up right where the last left off and I'm dying to continue. But I will delay gratification and move onto something else before the next one because I will certainly feel the loss when they are over.
Though I read these so many years ago, the memory of them isn't very clear so it's as though I'm experiencing them for the first time. A terrific series!

A must series

This series gets better and better! And it’s even fantastic because of Abby Craden! Not to be bias, but Abby Craden should be in ALL lesbian series. She brings all those characters to life, I feel I’m watching this mini-series!!! Onward to the next

I hate Cam! Had to stop reading this one!

I’ve listened to all the books up until this point and I find Cam’s double standards and controlling nature to be insufferable. I pushed through all the previous books because I really like the storyline... but struggle with the discourse and some of the details. But In this book, Cam is particularly manipulative, controlling, and disrespectful of the new Chiefs position. All of it is done in the name of loving Blair but to me that doesn’t make it ok. Love her better. But instead, Blair is expected to bend to Cam’s will because she loves her but can go rouge and lie about not being on the frontlines because she loves her and Blair’s like... you drive me crazy but ok! No, Fuck that! Additionally, a love story about a man and a woman would never tolerate a male character like Cam and call it love... Cam being a woman doesn’t excuse this behavior.

Future books

So, I am really into this series. So, look ahead, just for summaries. To find the last book doesn't have the same reader. Do, I listen to the sample.
Well, that sucked. Why would you change readers? I am not going to to finish the series...
You need to let Abby redo it, and then I and, others, I am sure, will read the rest.

Another epic!

This is another fantastic book by Radclyffe and as usual the narration by Abby Craden is first class. However I’m thinking that with the number of female characters in the story it’s a huge ask of Craden to characterise each one of them and then also the half a dozen male parts. I think it would be worthwhile having a male narrator to handle the male characters.
The tension and action was intelligent and fast paced. The lightning fast romance between the 2 new love-struck interests was way too u-haul for me. For 2 women with complicated backgrounds and coming from cosmopolitan worlds it was way beyond a stretch to see them behave like frantic teenagers in puppy love.
But that aside, it’s an epic action story with tension and tenderness.
