Excellent continuation of the series! Thought at first it was falling off with the "Farm on a colony" theme at the beginning, but it picked up big time after the stage was set.

so good I could read it 87 times!

these books will never be listed among the greatest science fiction of all time. they're not in it to be that. what they are is interesting, well written, enjoyable books with just a hint of technology and character development. I started reading The author's books late last year and have finished most of them at this point.

A bit slow out of the gates compared to 1-4.

Good story and interesting premise. Like the narration which sounded familiar... sure enough he's done the Zone Wars trilogy and several other audiobooks I've purchased which explains the familiar voice. I like to stick with series books so long as the story is good. Heck, I'm on... what is it - book 13 of the 'Merry band of pirates' and look forward to this story line continuing. Hurry up with 7 and 8.

I wondered what would happen to Cam and Vicky after the war ended. What a great way to continue the story arc!!
