Marriage and family is of the utmost importance to God. Your marriage and family are of the utmost importance to God. If you know anything about my books, many times, and this is no different, I have written books to inform and to teach, but also for myself to learn and to grow. At the time of the writing of this book I have been married over 27 years and my desire is to grow even deeper in my marriage. Many of you are saying being married that long I should have it all figured out, but I don't and I do not want to get stagnant in my marriage. We have had our ups and downs, trials and pains, victories and defeats. There have been many times of joy and many times of struggle even to the point of contemplating giving up, but giving up and divorce is not an option in any circumstance we have come across, which is probably why we have stayed together that long. It hasn't been perfect but it always has progressed. My foundation on this book is I Peter 3, but I will make reference to many other books in the Bible.

I am committed to writing a guide on marriage.

There are writings and teachings for both men and women individually and as one. If you are hearing this, you also want to grow in your marriage and want to be better this year than last year. Your desire is to stay committed to your marriage and family and to stay committed to God and what is important to him. We can and will do this together. I am believing for great things for myself, my wife, you, and our marriages. No matter where you are in your marriage there is room to grow, and if you are struggling in your marriage right now, may this be a catalyst and catapult to bring you closer together with your spouse like you never have been before. God will bless our commitments and our promises again. I believe marriage and the entering in of marriage is holy and devoted to God or it is not marriage at all. You give your commitments, dedications, and promises together before man and to God.
