good story but TERRIBLE AUDIO
The audio editing is AWFUL. Phrases repeat over and over. it is like they left all versions of any edits in together.
I like this author, the story is good but not crazy about the reader. The campfire series is much more entertaining in audio.
The voice for violet is good but the others... not so much.

Violet and her momma's great attitude s.
loved all characters. Then the author surprises us with an unlikely murderer! I've enjoyed the cities offerings of beach mountains and the city. I'd even like to visit!

A cozy mystery of a girl growing up
This book is great to have in the background. However I would have preferred to see more growth in the space of the main character. She was so young and green it was hard to listen as she blundered through things with her ego piloting her choices. I think she has potential and I’d like to see more from her however. :)
