5 Hold On Tight Stars

You ever have that one book in a series you just love and will re read over and over and over again? This is that book for me. I love this whole series, but there is just something about this book at is my one.
I will probably have SPOILERS because I can’t explain my love for this book without them.

Dewayne & Sienna

I don’t want to recycle the synopsis for you so I am going to try and put into words why I like this book so much.

Sienna, thinks she loves Dustin. He’s her first boyfriend, her first well everything. When he is killed, Sienna is faced with some pretty heavy issues afterward. Her mother and father are not supportive at all. So she is faced with them alone.
Dewayne always felt Dustin doesn't treat Sienna the way she needed to be treated. He wanted his brother to wake up. Only what really was going on was his feelings were getting in the way.

So now years later Sienna comes back to town after her family shipped her off.
She is back with her son. She happens to live right across the street from Dustin’s parents.
The Grandparents, it’s a shock and hard on Sienna she thought they knew of the baby but didn't want anything to do with him. She has been the one and only for a long time and when she finds out differently it turns her world a little upside down.
Dewayne tries to stay away, but can’t he wants to get to know his nephew but it’s more than that. Sienna has taken up a lot of his headspace.

I don’t know why this story gets to me it just does, maybe is that they both had those feelings when they were young but both pushed them down because of Dustin? Maybe it’s because I love a good story with a secret baby. I don’t know but I just love this book and felt it was time I reviewed it even if I mushed it all up. :-)

Loved Dwayne's Story

I was so glad that Dwayne's story was told. He was such a dick in all the other books so I was glad to see he really was a nice guy.

I love this whole series! Every book is good and I like all the characters in the series but Dwayne Falco is my favorite! Love Dwayne! I would recommend this series and Rosemary Beach series. Love Abbi Glines books!

Oh my god Abbi, she writes some awesome stories. Must listen, all of her books are amazing. This one will make you cry I think more than the other Sea Breeze books.

Loved Dewayne's Story

The Sea Breeze series has always been on of my favorites by Abbi Glines and I love all the yummy guys she has created that live there. Makes me want to visit and maybe stay there for a while, especially if I could get one of my own. I have my favorites of course, and Cage York will forever own my heart, but I must say that I have really been looking forward to getting the time to get to know Dewayne Falco. He's been in all the books of the series in some capacity and has been a bit of an enigma in that you know he is badass, tough, and doesn't care what he says or what people think of him. He is a player, and he also enjoys stirring up a little trouble and goading his friends on. In Hold on Tight, we get to see an entirely different side of Dewayne Falco - up close and personal. Abbi Glines takes you inside his head, inside his heart, and lets you see things through his eyes, and let me just say Dewayne Falco is one sexy, dirty talking, hot guy with a heart as big as Texas. Not only do we get to see all this about Dewayne, but we also get his past history, what has made him the way he is, as well as the things that have happened in his life and to those he loves. This is where Sienna comes in. She is a part of Dewayne's past, his present, and his future...... and this is their story.

I loved Sienna. She is just a sweetheart and you can't help but love her, want to protect her, as well as root for her all at the same time. Sienna's life has been anything but easy. She has traveled a hard road and has been treated so badly by those that should have loved her and taken care of her, yet she has managed to rise above all of that because of one beautiful little boy. After almost 6 years away, Sienna finds herself back in Sea Breeze, right back where she started, looking at the house the guy who stole her heart lived in. The chemistry between Dewayne and Sienna is electric, and I loved watching their relationship grow as they come to terms with their past, their hurts, their misunderstandings, and all the road blocks they have to get past to get a future together. As always, we get to see some of the characters we've grown to know and love from the other books in the series, which is always something I look forward to. Hold on Tight is a great story and I loved getting to know Dewayne and seeing him get his own HEA. Can't wait for the grand finale of the series, Until the End, coming out 10/28/14. The Audiobook was great and I especially loved Sebastian York's narration of Dewayne.

Best book of the series!

I love, love, love this book!
I related to this story so much because I was a young mother too. Abbi Glines knows just how to pull at your heart strings and bring out all your emotions to become invested in these characters.
Bravo Abbi.... It's spectacular :)

My favorite of the series

This book is my fave of the entire Seabreeze series because for the 1st time the woman didn't annoying me to death and the man said what was on his mind.... the other books dragged the storylines out to the point of irritation
