Publisher's Summary

Fall in love with this funny, festive queer rom-com brimming with heart and holiday magic!

Toni Danzig is a dirt bag - literally. There's nothing she enjoys more than being out in the mountains leading adventure tours. On a well-deserved break over Thanksgiving weekend, she's DJ-ing karaoke at the Dew Drop Inn when Audrey Adams takes the stage to sing the greatest middle-finger break-up song ever, dedicated to her ex-girlfriend. It's a perfect night that culminates in a transcendental experience in bed...before Audrey rushes out in the morning.

Monday morning, the holidays are in full swing when Audrey's worst nightmare comes true. After the most memorable night of her life, she's thrust together with the one woman who she hasn't been able to forget - on a strictly professional consulting project for her family’s business.

Meanwhile, Toni can't believe her luck. Now she has the unexpected chance to win Audrey over, and she sets a goal to be someone worthy of this woman's love and respect. Will they crash and burn like a bad karaoke performance - or will they be singing a duet before the holiday season is over?

well written, very well narrated!

I usually don't like multiple narrators, but you could tell they worked together on matching the voices and they did such a good job I really loved it.
the story had very little drama, but great tension, so it remained engaging. I listened to it all in one go.
if your looking for streamy sex scenes, this is not the book your seeking, but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. it reads like a Hallmark Christmas movie, as far as intimacy goes....implied and discussed, but nothing explicit. which works for this asexual!
the set up/hook for the next book is fantastic. which apparently is still in the works.

Delightful F/F Holiday Romance!

Hold Me Closer, Toni Danzig hooked me in the first 5 minutes. I loved Toni and Audrey and their chemistry and yearning. This is a delightful and enjoyable holiday novella.

Audrey experiences a dramatic break up, which opens the door for Toni to make a move. After a one night stand Toni and Audrey find themselves forced to work with each other and their sisters. This is a very family focused story and I loved the side characters and their relationships. I laughed many times, there were some great one liners and humorous moments.

Toni and Audrey's chemistry is so great and there is wonderful characters development. I love the emotional components of this book. F/F romance isn't as prominent in the audiobook world, and I jumped at the opportunity to listen and review this early. The holiday elements are present but not in your face. The story is fade to black, but there was a lot of sexual tension and push and pull between the lead characters and I definitely felt the romance.

This was the first audiobook for me narrated by Suehyla El-Attar and Lori Prince. They are strong narrators and I would definitely listen to other books they are narrating. Some of the accent work wasn't my favorite, but it was minimal in the book.

I highly recommend this F/F holiday romantic comedy!

Cute, Queer, Hallmark-esque

This is a cute, quick, simple read to lighten your heart. Reminiscent of a feel-good Hallmark movie. Fair warning - very very light erotic moment near the end.

Perfect!

I loved this novella. It was the perfect companion for my 3 hour road-trip.
I absolutely loved the characters! The 2 MCs as well as the family members. This packed a lot into 3 hours and I truly enjoyed every minute of it.
The dual narration was amazing. I don’t always enjoy it when an audio has multiple narrators, but Lori Prince and Suehyla El-Attar are a perfect pairing in this and were perfect voices for their individual characters! Well done!

Absolute enjoyment!

Loved this heartwarming tale. Two different character actors gave it realism. It’s also funny and I was laughing within the first fifteen minutes. Something light and inspiring for the holidays.

Sweet F/F Romance

This was a short and sweet F/F romance. It was fade to black, and I really enjoyed it. The audio was wonderful. The narrators were very engaging and into it. I didn’t want it to end.

AMAZING

I loved this so much! The characters are wonderful and deep for it being criminally short. It is very sweet and also sexy. The perfect holiday rom-com with a slight edge. I thought it was a great LGBTQIA story and I liked that there was so much depth of character and back story while keeping it light. It made me laugh and smile. It warmed my heart and I wanted way more time with Toni and Audrey. Please please, Laura Henry, make more of these stories, you beautiful genius! The narrators were wonderful. Both did an excellent job with a range of characters. I highly recommend this.

Best Holiday Rom-Com

I was smiling and laughing through most of this story. Truly a wonderful holiday romance story. Two wonderful narrators. Toni is used to doing whatever she wants and Audrey is organized with a plan for her life. These two make the most adorable pair. When Audrey is battling with herself in her head I couldn’t help but laugh. This is a great audiobook not to be missed.

Liked the first two? Don't bother with this one!

I realise being an author is a commercial undertaking but this is not even a pot boiler - it is not even tepid.
A waste of everyone's time.
