Sappy
I realize that this is fiction but not believable even as fiction. Instantaneous lust seems common enough but the demand for instantaneous devotion and trust causes me to roll my eyes. Even though the two main characters knew each other less than six hours, the reader is supposed to believe that their relationship is at the point of someone that’s been together for at least six months. The hurt feelings of betrayal just made me feel impatient. I only finished the story because it was a short one. On a positive note, Ms. O’Keef’s (or is it O. Keef) performance is always excellent. She improves the caliber of any story.
