Ridiculous waste of a credit

I have listened to many many audiobooks and this one is the only time I've given such a bad review… the plot is ridiculous, the dialogue is even more ridiculous, and it was an absolute chore to get through ... And many times the accents made me cringe…
a complete waste of a credit

Not the strong Eve Duncan of past books

I like strong women! In the first two books of this trilogy, she seems to have softened to the point of nearly whiney. Come on Iris, lets give Eve her spine back. I like the premise of the stories as they have so many directions to go. Will happily read/listen to the next book and hope.

Interesting and short

Good story for a short read. Narrator still great. I always wish for more depth from this author but there is no denying she is good at what she does.

Talk about a cliff hanger

Iris Johansen did a brilliant job portraying the characters' relationships in this story. Blended with her usual skillful suspense. I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves the Eve Duncan books. I think this was one of her better books in this series!
And as usual, Elizabeth Rogers narrated this book very well!

Predictable

I have always enjoyed the Eve Duncan series, but they are becoming very predictable. I knew what was going to happen before I finished the book. The only thing that didn’t happen this time is Eve being shot or kidnapped. Jane is also becoming very boring how many times do we have to hear her complain about her dreams. Get over it and find the damn treasure. 😬

Worst in series

Not at all like the previous Eve Duncan novels. Seemed like everyone wanted to take care of someone else. Most of the characters seemed too whinny. I've already purchased the next in the series, hope it's better. The narration was alright as usual.
