Loved it

It should have been one of the best nights of her life. Instead, she lost her innocence and her loves. With her life destroyed, she left town with her parents. Now, four years later, she’s returned and they are not happy to see her. They think they can destroy her and run her back out of town. They don’t understand they destroyed her years ago. She’s no longer the girl she once was. She’s stronger, more confident, and has a reason to make her life the best it can be. They don’t stand a chance.

I loved this story. Surprising, since I am over bully romance. But this isn’t your typical bully revenge story. Elie is stronger than most of the young vulnerable lead females. She’s a mother. A mother who wants to provide a good life for her daughter. She’s not going to be intimidated by the self-proclaimed Silver Knights Brody, Jax and Chase, and Lady Rain. Plus, she's found Theo, a man worth more than all of these soon-to-be-past-their-glory-days immature a-holes. Elly's life makes the others look juvenile and shallow. Her past relationships must have been based purely on lust. Elie had nothing in common with them, felt lesser around them, and the way they immediately turned on her and believed the worst about her shows how little respect and belief they had in her. She owes them nothing and I can't imagine why she would be interested in even having a conversation with them, much less a rekindled relationship. I'm going to need a huge redemption arc in book two; otherwise, I will root for Theo to be the only one getting the girl.

Angelina Rocca and Oliver Highpoint narrated this audiobook. I loved Angelina. She gave each female a distinctive voice that fit the character. I especially loved her portrayal of Lily. Adorable. I was mostly pleased with Oliver. He definitely gave each male a distinctive voice but I wasn't always a fan of the voice. I did not care for his portrayal of Jax. It sounded like a 70-year-old effeminate male, not a 20-year-old hottie. I know with so many characters to voice, it must get difficult to make the voices sound individual but please,

What a start!

This one had me feeling so many different emotions. happiness, sadness, anger, fear, need to cool down if you know what I mean haha, I could go on! The pain these characters have had to go through was palpable. I loved the nerdy professor, he definitely won me over so quickly. And a certain little lady was the star of the show (I don’t normally gravitate towards kids in books but she made me rethink that haha). So many laughs as well as wanting to throw my phone with these characters' antics. cannot wait to listen to more once they are available ❤️

Hidden Secrets is book 1 in the Silver Valley University series. It is a college bully, reverse harem story. It was interesting to get meet and see the different personalities of Ellie, Brody, Chase, Jax, Rain and Theo. This book has all the feels and heartbreak. I am definitely #TeamTheo. I cannot wait for book 2.

Angelina Rocca and Oliver Highpoint did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Grate book!

I can’t wait for the next book to come out. I wonder if they’ll find out who’s baby she had.

Best ever!!!!

Loved it!!! The emotional rollercoaster was so heartbreaking. Would definitely recommend for a tear jerker.
