Paaaaaainful!
I definitely struggled with this book. The romance was ok. The mystery was ok. What made the story so painful was the sluggish pace of the mystery and the weak investigation.
The investigation was brushed past with vague references. There were very few characters, so figuring out who done it was painfully simple. And the background outside of the two main characters were weak.
Overall, the story wasn't well developed. If you just want a basic sweet romance then this MAY do. I guess....
