Publisher's summary
A multitude of secret paths and trails exist in the world of Waldyra. Some of them lead to places that can only be described as "non-canonical." Those are always extremely well-concealed and almost impossible to find. Should anyone succeed in setting their foot on such a path, they'd be warned about doing it at their own peril.
Orbit has found one of these secret ways. It is another trail that bypasses the grim black gates and leads directly to the divine inferno known as Tantariall. The brave heroes of the Brotherhood will see much on their journey, and some of those things will be outrageously insane. Even Orbit will have to admit that such sights had only been seen by the so-called "primers" previously-the legendary first testers of Waldyra.
Obsessed with his goal, Orbit leads the heroes to an area called Purgamentum. They find themselves forced to take on the roles of the long-gone primers, and the dark underbelly of the bright world of Waldyra readily swallows up the Brotherhood of the Trail.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Story
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
Armand, Lich Lord of the Necropolis, is bored. So very... very bored. He's guarded the greatest dungeon in the world against all comers, but the issue is, no one is coming anymore. No adventurers have fought his reanimated dragon. No heroes have fallen into the spike pits. No one's come to admire the menacing décor of skulls and warnings written in blood on the walls. Nothing! So what's a last boss to do when no one's good enough to challenge his dungeon? Why, build a party himself of course!

Story
Ryan lived his life on Earth trapped in his own body. The doctors couldn't explain what was happening to him, but slowly, his body was crystallizing. Then, a portal opened up on the ceiling of his hospital room. He'd seen that one in enough anime to recognize what was happening. It couldn't possibly be worse than the hell that was his life on Earth, not that he was given any choice.

Story
After close brush with death, Garrett realizes that he’s in a new world. And worse, he’s missing an arm and paralyzed from the waist down. A fact that doesn’t deter the brutal gang lord whose floor he’s crashing on from wanting to throw him out into the street. The only thing standing between Garrett and a cold death at the mercy of the city’s scavengers are his own wits and a plucky young woman. Armed with a system that gives him experience for exploring his new world, Garrett is determined to do whatever it takes to keep himself safe from the threats closing in all around him.

Story
Eric was as shocked as everyone else when the apocalypse struck, but unlike his mother's movie, there were no chosen heroes destined to fight the beast hordes now overrunning the planet. Just people trying desperately to survive. Yet there was a glimmer of hope that humanity could hold on to. A chosen few really could level up in this brave new world, and embrace magic, adventure, and the potential for limitless power!

Other side adventure
Out of all the series, the original and this part. I’ve disliked this book to the point that it’s making me think twice before I listen to the next one. For me it was just super disappointing so many big things was on the horizon yet somehow we got stuck on another side quest that’s turning out longer than necessary.
Very disappointing. Stop draw out the story even more, so many things are never going to get resolved at this rate due to the constant sidetracking of something else new. And now my favorite elf with the weirdest personality is turning into a lovesick puppy. and even though it’s obvious where that’s going it disappointing that no solid concrete evidence was given, just hinted it.
If one more book like this one comes out, I’m going end my adventure here!
