Publisher's summary

While investigating the Shays, Federated Planetary Alliance Inspector Nick Givliani discovers their employee Cassie Draegen is more than she seems. Brilliant, inventive, and much too sexy for his peace of mind, she soon becomes his top suspect.

As the Shays’ resident genius, Cassie is the secret weapon in their struggle to save the galaxy. The last thing she needs is an FPA inspector breathing down her neck. Avoiding Nick would be the smart thing to do, but he’s as persistent as he is gorgeous. If she’s not careful, his relentless pursuit and her growing attraction might upset all their plans.

As Nick draws closer to the truth, intrigue and desire bind them together in a complicated knot. Will Cassie be able to complete her work with the Shays, or will Nick bring it crashing down upon their heads?

Very good!

This book is not about dragons. That being said, Cassie Draeger is a bit of a firebreathing dragon, at least when it comes to her smart personality.

Nick Giuliani, Federated Planetary Alliance inspecter, space law enforcement official is investigating the Shays. However, instead of doing his job, he finds himself unexpectedly distracted by Cassie Draegen. The chemistry between Nick and Cassie is fiery. I really enjoyed the back and forth between them, it was fun. The dialogue was also great.

Matthew Raftis did an exceptional job narrating Here There Be Dragons. He brought the characters to life by injecting emotion into the words. He has a pleasant voice and is capable of various tones. The characters all sound different and easy to tell apart. I look forward to listening to more of his work.

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook and recommend it to the fans of sci-fi romance.

Note: This book is a space sci-fi romance — No dragons nor aliens. But fast-paced, charged with artificial intelligence with personalities, space combat, super-fast spaceships and megalomaniac dedicated to world domination.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

No dragons here

I thought this story would be exciting, however I was disappointed. It did not have any actual dragons and I found the story hard to follow. I received a copy of this audio book from Audiobook Boom and I am leaving my honest review.
