Publisher's Summary

Nikolai Vorislav likes his single life just as it is. Simple, relaxing, and quiet. What he doesn't need is some foul-mouthed Texan hellcat living in his house, eating his food, flirting with his idiot brothers, and shooting holes in his home with his granddaddy's gun. But those long legs, dark eyes, and lethal tongue are making Nik insane, and he fears that he may be caught in the sexiest animal trap ever.

Angelina Santiago doesn't know how she got from Texas to North Carolina in a night or how she ended up in some hillbilly tiger's house wearing only a sheet. What she does know is that she doesn't like good ol' boys with slow, sexy drawls who can't seem to stop rubbing up against her. Yet in order to protect her friends, Angie has to stay with a cat who seems hellbent on finding all sorts of delicious ways to make her purr.

Contains mature themes.

Catch a Tiger by his Tail.

I like the Pride series better, but I can see where the comedy and the crazy characters come from. In this series I liked Mickey's story the best but they are all enjoyable and full of crazy friends and family. I wasn't the biggest fan of all the product name dropping, it was a bit much, but it fit for Angie's character. I love the toilet scene, laughed my butt off at the gullible tiger. The short story about Irene and the Van Holts can be read for both series, this is a tie that brings both the Magnus series and the Pride series together. Good narrator, I would be happy to listen her again.

This was better than the last one

I liked this book the best in this series, I think. There's more focus on the relationship between Angelina and Nikolai. I like how she puts his brothers in their places. There's the humor and hot sex that are the norm for a book by Shelly Laurenston so that's satisfying. Like the second book in this series, some of the language is crude enough as to be disturbing to me, but I could be a little out of step. I like the Pride series better, but I can see me listening to this series again.

New author to add to my favorite list

I absolutely love this book! I did not realize when I got it it was book three in the series though. It stands well though on its own. Made me want to read the first two though :-) The narrator was amazing! She gave each character their individual voices and really made you see the characters as individuals and your heads. Put a lot of expression into also what she was reading.

Laugh out loud!

I truly enjoyed this laugh out loud series! The energy and strength of the heroines, their true friendship through thick and thin, makes this a keeper of the series to listen to again and again!

Don’t bother

This is one of the worst books I’ve listened too. The whole thing is a bunch of cussing(which I don’t mind), yelling and getting mad for no reason, shopping and the heroine taking down shape shifters that just stand there and take it. Even though it was free I still regret the time I spent listening to it.

Best In The Series

I laughed so much while listening to this one that I was surprised. Each book has it's own set of funny situations but there are so many to count in this one. Great narration and great story! Love the epilogue tying everything at the end. Very recommended! Low angst, high steam, and lots of humor.
