I wanted to like this so much...

I loved the first book in this series, and was looking forward to the release of this one. I was terribly disappointed. I listened to the whole thing, suffering through every ridiculous, unlikable character and every absurd, nonsensical plot twist, hoping it would get better. It did not. Save your credits for something else.
