Not the ending I was hoping for

Great story. Fantastic twists and build up. I’m shattered my the ending. And the cliff hanger is great. But not what I hoped for.

Duet Narration for the win!

There is just something about Sadie that made me long for this audiobook. I love how she grew into her regal self throughout the story and how she was open to being loved and loving, even with her evil mom in her head. The Shadow King is my favorite king, since he's Sadie's favorite king.

I may relisten soon...as I impatiently wait for the dragon kings' book/audiobook.

Slow and heavy.

Expertly performed by both actors but not the romance I thought after the preview. set in a self-segregating fundamentalist community, humiliation and emotional violence paired with a limited vocabulary fill at least the first 6 chapters, that is how far I got.
