If you could sum up Hell's Christmas (The Hell Tales) in three words, what would they be?
Romance Christian Enjoyable
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hell's Christmas (The Hell Tales)?
It was all good. I suppose for me it was the romance storyline between Justin and Monica. I like the part where she wakes up and is not where she should be.
Have you listened to any of Vivian Lu’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first novel by her but I enjoyed it. She was a good Narrator.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I started it early in the morning and by bed time was done with it. I just couldn't stop listening.
Any additional comments?
I was going to give this novel a 4.5 but decided to round it off to an even 5. I will say that the novel starts out in first person and I almost let that knock me out of hearing a great novel. First person is not my favorite, and not all of this novel is in first person, so after a bit I was inside the story and listening all day.
Hells Christmas did everything it was supposed to do. It kept me entertained. It kept me listening, and it made me laugh and I enjoyed it.It has a few twists and turns I didn't expect. It had a great Christian message even though I would not consider it preachy in the least. I will be looking for more audio books by this author, and if you like a good clean read.
You will like this. If you like romance you will enjoy this story, and if you ever have watched it's a Wonderful Life you will smile now and then in remembrance of that great movie. I don't know if the author can reply to this or not, but I hope she lets me know when she has more novels out.
