Excellent!!

Like other comments, the performances were perfection. At times it seemed like I had a Soap Opera playing on the TV in another room - the sound effects, dramatic acting and overall drama was very enjoyable.

Brilliant!

Wonderfully written and produced - a truly entertaining and engaging experience. Fun characters, fascinating historical detail, fantastic acting. My only complaint: I had a really hard time pausing the show and getting back to real life!

Couldn’t stop listening

Couldn’t stop listening to this incredible story about these amazing women. The voice acting and sound effects really put me in the story, they were so well done. I’m officially pirate obsessed.

It was a great story

It was an LGBWT fairytale. I still really enjoyed the whole podcast. I don't really care about the characters sexual preferences. The whole story was a great story if historical fiction. I laughed and cried. They had Anne Bonny as some sort of narcissistic woman. Perhaps she was. It made for a great soap opera. Mary Read was supposed to be trans. There is no proof of that but it still made for a very good story. Both had babies at the end of their lives. There is no way to prove this is true. The best they can say it is conjecture. I would wish the minimal happy ending to be true.

Fun listen

I really enjoyed this podcast. I would recommend it, however I was a little put off by how much they glorified the characters. Judging by what I know about Mary "Mark" Reed (admittedly not that much) the character they were in this was much more merciful than the real Mark.

Entertaining
