This was amazing

I loved everything about this book. I was nervous about the narration because I didn’t care for it on Game Changer, but it was perfect on Heated Rivalry. Looking forward to the sequels especially more on Shane and Ilya

Sexy and fluff story you will enjoy

I usually don’t enjoy stories with a MC with a Russian accent because they aren’t always done well, but I really enjoyed the narration. While there are lots of spicy scenes they aren’t very long or detailed where it would be considered graphic content. The scenes are sexy but more on the romantic side than spicy. I’d rate it 3/5 on spice scale even though there are lots of scenes throughout the book. Really enjoyed the build or the relationship and the characters. Very excited for the sequel in book 6!!!

I Couldn’t Get Enough

This story is hot! I loved the characters and really felt their story. The more you learn about Ilya, the more you adore him.

LOVED this audiobook so much!

This is so sweet and romantic. Not a lot of action but just a bunch of amazing moments throughout the years, a truly beautiful journey. Love the friendship between these two, the tension, the love, the language barrier was cute and narrator made it sound super sexy. Ilya’s bluntness is so funny, Shane is so precious. Yes! I cannot recommend this enough.

Just listen!!! Do it! Loved the story & the vocal performance was really superb. Hard to find anything to complain about.

Absolutely Incredible!

I can't stress how much I loved this book. I've been on an MM kick for a few months now, a lot of which have beeb centered around hockey, and I've noticed a ton of tropes used very frequently in the genre. This book obviously hahad the secrecy that many of them have, but it wasn't full of predictable crap like some of the books I've read. The way the emotions were handled was so well done, and it felt very believable. I loved how the whole book unfolded, and I really loved the lack of annoying angst and miscommunication. That may be my least favorite tropes these books tend to have, an annoying level of miscommunication that makes you want to shake the characters. I absolutely loved Ilya and Shane's story, and I really can't wait to read the 6th book and get a continuation of them!
Also, note on the narration. I am definitely not Tor Thom's biggest fan by any means(see book one for his..interesting... accents) but I think he actually did pretty good with this book! I actually liked the wayIlyas's accent was handled. It could have been better, but it was enjoyable enough to not deter from the book like Kip's accent in book 1.
Overall highly recommend the book!

Not a Fan of the Ending

It was starting to develop into a beautiful love story. I was disappointed with the ending. Are they going to continue doing what they have been doing and wait another 10 years before they come out? The narration could have been a lot better.
