A great book and bear firefigthers to boot - yum!

I enjoyed this book very much. The characters are strong, and the male characters are sensitive. Except the whining idiot I want to beat with his own arm - Roger! Him we can beat silly, please.
Annabeth can make the best sweets and cakes. Dane is a volunteer firefigther and a runs a ranch. (He is a hot bear shifter as well.)
Dane's bear basically told him that Annabeth is their mate, as usual the human part doesn't believe it as easily as the animal.
As Annabeth's business are growing, the feelings between Anabeth and Dane grows as well. But Dane has yet to let her know that he and his family are a lttle bit different than other people - as well as most of the town.
But there has to be someone that need to be the rain clouds on a sunny day. And her past came back and it made me so made that I wanted to smack Roger to bits.
I like that the author is not afraid to address tough issues like emotional abuse as well as what difficulties first responders face. It is bringing real world issues into her fictional world.
I enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next book!

This story is like a good box of donuts!

Annabeth and Dane are the first couple that we get to know in the Bearpaw Ridge Series. Annabeth is a sweet and generous woman who is trying to start a new life away from an ex who won't take no for an answer. Dane is a big, protective bear shifter who manages the family ranch. He instantly falls for Annabeth but she is human and he is a shifter.

This book is full of laughter, love, and some amazing moments that you don't want to forget! Ophelia Sexton captures our attention with this awesome story!

Awesome series!

I love Bearpaw Ridge! Such a great world Ophelia has created! The characters just suck you in and enthrall you! Incredibly well written, funny, romantic, and full of action! The narrator does a great job! I highly recommend checking this book out!

I missed these books and had been thinking about a reread. but now they are in audio. could not get better. love listening on the way to work, but makes me want to keep listening and not work lol! they are so good.

OK book

This is light reading. The disappointment is that most of the plot twists were telegraphed. Also, in short book, there was a lot of sex. I’m not saying don’t have sex, I am saying think out carefully what you want to say and don’t have it be such a large part of the book.
