Great series

I loved how each character found their true love at the end of the story

The narrators did a fantastic job telling the story with emotion that makes you feel like you are experiencing exactly what the characters are going through.

I like how all the stories connect.plenty of spicy adult scenes to keep you entertained.

understatement

when I read the reviews for this series I kinda thought a lot of the readers were being a prude but after listening to just one story I am sad to say that they are right. These stories are straight porn lmbo. You should definitely not listen to them without ear buds. I am pretty open minded with the stories I listen to and I like a very broad range of stories but this one legit has me blushing. It's not just the moaning and groaning that gives you the ick feeling, it's the squishy sounds and rhythmic slapping that really drives it on home for what type of story this is. This is definitely a first for me. I've got over 1,100 audio books in my phone and not one of them gets quite this graphic. I'm no quitter so I'm going to finish these stories because the plot is decent and it's kept me interested so far but I will definitely have to take a break every once in a while and go to something a little less raunchy lmbo.

Pleasantly surprised...Very Steamy

The narrators for this series, definitely brought the characters to life. This is one of those series, that surprises you as it grows.

Wanted to return it but couldn’t.

I struggled through it because I liked the story. Did not like the male voice at all and found the sex scenes to be to much and really a bit creepy. I fast forwarded through them which was disappointing.

I can’t fault the narrators or the story. I enjoyed it. So why only 4 stars: it was the sounds of the lovemaking. To my mind it was excruciatingly pornographic. It was VERY realistic & I simply couldn’t take it. I was forced to speed thru the love scenes, the wet noises, the moans. I don’t consider myself a Puritan but I felt like I was spying on something very private - even more private than the acting in a pornography film. Sorry.

Bad production detracted greatly from the story

The voice actors did great and I loved how all female characters were voiced by a female and vice versa.

I enjoyed the story and characters.

The production team however missed the mark in a big way. They made every single sex scene sounds like you were listening to a bad porno. No, I am not squeamish in the least and have yet to fast forward through any other scene in any other erotic book. Unfortunately, I found myself trying to figure out what the production team was using for the sound effects instead of listening to the story. I am fairly convinced a wet sponge was being slapped against something for part of the sounds… It got to the point I fast forwarded through any make out sessions and sex scenes. No joke, 5, 10, or more minutes at a time was skipped because it was so distracting.

The take away, the book was good, but I was disappointed to miss a couple hours of the writing. The voice actors were able to provide a variety of voices and accents for a wide range of characters. The cast was large so if anyone has a problem with a character, they should consider the talent it would take to achieve half of what they did.

Hated sound effects!!!

Loved the story but had to fast forward through the sex scenes. The sound effects were more suited to porn. Not what I want in a story. Good writers don’t need all that to get the point across in a good story!!!!

I just can't with the "sounds" ...

the stories were good, the narration was good EXCEPT the sounds and the steamy parts, just too much! it actually ruined it for me
