One (or three?) of a Kind

Absolutely loving this series, and I cannot wait to start the next one. This one got a little close to being like situationally inappropriate in just one chapter and I almost bailed but it was clean to the end!

Much appreciation to all the classic and modern literary references throughout the story, as well as the variety of perspectives the author introduces to the reader (listener?) in understanding that everyone has a story behind the cover, no matter how simple or complex.

The narrator gives every “old enough to be a mom” character the same voice which can sometimes make it hard to know who’s talking, but at the end of the day she does a wonderful job getting the right sarcastic or ironic tone out and really brings all that not-so-subtle humor the author blessed us with within grasp.

Interesting and funny

I enjoyed listening to this rom com. It was different in a good way! He has issues being near people (more than that) and she had a liver transplant as a child. Her bookmobile breaks down and what follows is sweet, interesting, and funny! Clean with light faith.
