So muchness

A great story if you can see past the fact that Hadley saying no to a publicized proposal to a Hollywood heart throb would have likely ended poorly for her in her small town. There were several laugh out loud moments. Hadley is almost too forgiving but she has a big heart. you really want her to get her HEA.

Fake dating at its finest!

I read this for a second time recently. It was so good listening to it this time. Both narrators did a fantastic job. Hadley and James became great friends in college and then James got a big break and moved across the country and became a big-time movie star. For reasons he never told her, James ghosted Hadley after heading out to Hollywood.

5 years later, he is back in her life needing a favor, and it involves fake-dating him. The only thing they don’t know is that they each have hidden feelings for the other that has lasted the 5 years they haven’t spoken.

It was sweet to watch their “fake” feelings start to seem real to the other. James is someone who is always wanting to take care of those he loves and put them above himself. Hadley has let things hold her back and she has decided to become more adventurous.

This was a sweet, kissing only, friends-to-more, fake dating, celebrity romance book set in the small town of Harvest Hollow.

Hallmark you need to make this a movie!

rated TVPG for no language and closed door (kisses only). The scene with the haystacks had me cackling. Love a protective hero! This is such a great series. Off to binge her series!
