Fantastic single dad, grumpy/sunshine listen!!

A hot, grumpy, single dad romance? Yep, I'm so there. All of the FEELS with this one! I absolutely LOVED it - the witty snark, the steam, and the emotions they experienced. A wonderful, uplifting read about moving forward, letting go of the past and being loved so completely it takes your breath away. The push and pull, and back and forth between Willa and Cade is OFF THE CHARTS. Heartfelt, funny, sexy, and hella swoony. I laughed so hard at the text messages between them and their family. This is truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!!

Vanessa Edwin & Stephen Dexter do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.

Heart full with Heartless

This book was amazing. The slow burn, small town romance I didn’t know I needed. Willa and Cade’s romance was everything I needed and the narrators did an excellent job of bringing them to life.

fave in this series so far

I absolutely adored this book. I'm not sure how the next books will go, but this one will definitely be one of, if not *the*, favorite of mine in this series.

Cade and Willa were everything. They were so great together. Cade had so much responsibility on himself and couldn't relax. Willa was the perfect person to get him to open up and realize that he didn't have to carry so much weight all the time.

I loved how great Willa was with Luke and how the two of them grew to love each other so much. Then there was the growing connection between Willa and Cade. I was happy screaming when Cade finally let himself give in to how he was feeling for her.

I was glad to see a little bit more from Winter in this book. I am really curious about what is going to happen in her story. I really like Jasper's character so I am excited that his book is next.

Vanessa Edwin is absolutely AMAZING at portraying the character's emotions in her performance. She is wonderful to listen to and makes you forget you're listening to a book. Stephen Dexter also did an amazing job in his performance. This was a great narrator pairing for this book.

Love the story!

I love the story. Separately loved the performers but I’d pay more to have it narrated as a true duet. Hearing the performers try to cover the other characters lines was cringey and took away from the story.

Better than book one!

I really liked this storyline - Cade, Willa, and Luke. I'm looking forward to the next book.
