Even better in audio!

Oh my word....this is one of my favorite books of 2022 and to hear the audio completely made my 2023 already! Cade Eaton is one of my favorite single dads and Stephen Dexter narrating him....even better. He and Vanessa Edwin gave such beautiful life to Willa and Cade. I swear I giggled more at this audio than I have at any other. Stephen Dexter involved with a story involving children...he is perfect for those characters. I have been a long time Vanessa fan and I do believe her as Willa is probably my favorite! This is definitely an audiobook that I will be listening to again in the future!

If you love a story that grabs hold of you from the very beginning, a single dad who constantly has his ballcap on backwards, and is a grump but gradually softens because of the magical woman who entered into his life as his son's nanny....this audio is for you!

This book took my heart

The story was great even though I didn’t love the surprise, I’m good with it. The performance of the narrators was excellent!

Willa and Cade

Ducking phenomenal. My second ever audiobook and I am HOOKED on listening to the audio versions after finishing the physical versions.

The way the story comes to life through narration? It’s like enjoying it for the first time all over again. Parts that didn’t affect me terribly while reading it ruined me when spoken aloud. The emotion was real, and it felt genuine, and the narrators did an excellent job!

I don’t ever leave a review. But this one deserves it! Cade and Willa are 2 of the best characters I’ve read. Narrators we’re excellent!
