Fantastic Team make for fantastic entertainment!

Julie Garwood is truly one of the best of the historical romance writers, and Rosalyn Landor delivers the story to its best.

Once again the Highlanders and the English butt heads with a beautiful lady in the middle. Johanna is a powerful character who overcomes unspeakable terror to become a voice that strikes fear into the hearts of pitiful weaklings.

Excellent Story!

Highland hunk to the rescue.

One of my favorite stories by Julie Garwood. So glad that Audible recorded it. A light hearted, but moving story. Love the characters and their quirkiness. I had a silly grin on my face with some of the antics Johanna gets herself into. I love how Gabriel acknowledges his feelings even though it isn't cool for a warrior to have those. Narrator was okay, although not my favorite she seems slightly old for the character and her male voices are not great.

great story narrative ehh. not the worse I've heard. I find so far not one Audible other than the outlander series has a decent narrator. I will keep trying.

Wonderful

I love Garwood's books. But pair that with Rosalyn Landor and you have a truly magical experience. I love a narrator that tells the story and not just reads it.

Has a little bit of everything, weak, abused damsel finding her courage, strength and leadership.
Handsome, powerful Highland warriors, romance, war (almost) and justice.
